Staycation Dallas Texas

For many of us traveling with kids can be very expensive and a real pain in the ass.  Recently, Philip had a few days off and since he travels weekly for work I wanted our vacation to be simple and most importantly relaxing.  The kids were shouting “BEACH BEACH” which meant a 6-hour drive, accommodations that would allow our two dogs and a whole bunch of packing.  Well, our children’s dreams of fun in the sun where shattered when I proclaimed we we’re having a STAYCATION!
