I had years of experience blending essential oils and knew their healing potential.  I decided after years of not being able to find relief for our daughter who struggles with Hashimoto’s, I began experimenting with them to ease her symptoms.  Below are a few of the oils we used and one actually shrunk the lymph nodes she had been battling against for years.  This is our experience and it may not be the same for others. Please consult your physician before starting any supplement or essential oil protocol.

Lemongrass Oil – helps support the thyroid it also eases, muscle & joint while helping the body achieve balance. Lemongrass has antioxidant properties that may prevent the growth of some bacteria and yeast.


Frankincense-is one of the leading essential oils used for immune system health. Frankincense is high in Monoterpenes thus playing a significant role in human remodeling tissue and the dermal inflammation process. It may also help relieve pain, constipation, anxiety fatigue and mood swings.  (avoid if you have Graves’ Disease)


Myrrh– has been used for centuries to reduce stress and support the thyroid. Myrrh is rich in Sesquiterpenes which can help “dimmish miswritten codes in cellular memory” helping to reduce brain fog. Due to its anti-inflammatory effects, myrrh can minimize pro-inflammatory cytokine which can help reduce the autoimmune response.


Basil – supports the adrenal glands. When the body needs thyroid support, it usually requires adrenal support, so it’s a good idea to use this oil on a regular basis. When you address the adrenal glands, you can also ease symptoms of fatigue too.


Peppermint – is beneficial for hypothyroid sufferers by easing brain fog, boosting energy and overall thyroid support.


Endoflex– *** after years of lymph node inflammation, this blend of essential oils not only eased Sophia’s discomfort it reduced the size of her lymph nodes. I cannot say enough about this oil(these results may not be the same for all of its users this was our experience) We added fours drops to a small roller bottle with fractionated coconut oil applying directly to the lymph nodes daily.


How to Apply Essential Oils to Support the Thyroid

Apply topically (diluting oils with fractionated coconut oil) to the base of the neck; preferable around the thyroid gland. Also apply generously to the lower back where the adrenal glands can be found. Lastly, apply to the bottoms of your feet. The feet boast the largest pores of the body which allows for quick absorption. See diagram below


By using therapeutic grade essential oils on a daily basis, its user has the potential to experience their tremendous healing benefits. When correctly applied, pure essential oils always work toward the restoration of proper bodily function and rarely cause undesirable side effects.
