Essential oils have been around for over 5,000 years, but for years people have seemed reluctant to use them.  As an Aromatherapist, I feel that the tide is changing and more of my clients are looking for natural solutions.  Many individuals have become concerned about the effects of chemical-filled products and the increasingly dangerous side-effects of medications. Now more than ever people are choosing a more holistic approach to healing both their body and mind. Essential oils when properly administered, produce no harmful side-effects. When we use essential oils we work in accordance with holistic principles by awakening and strengthening vital energies and self-healing capabilities.

  1. That’s an interesting selection of oils. I love ylang ylang, as well. Grapefruit is a favourite food for me, so I really ought to try experimenting more with its essential oil. I would definitely try it mixed with lavender (another favourite!)
