Another reason to love Fall is all the rich & hearty recipes that come with it. Here’s Sophie’s favorite Pot Roast Recipe; we hope you love it as much as she does!
Ingredients Recipe – Serves 4-6:
Total cook time 4-6 hours
2 to 3 lb lean boneless chuck roast
1 pouch Red Fork Sunday Pot Roast Seasoning Sauce
2.5 cups beef broth
5 carrots rough chop
1.5 lbs red potatoes
1 small Vidalia onion
1T olive oil
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a dutch oven add a tablespoon of olive oil to the very hot pot. Place the meat in the pot and sear it for about a 2 minutes on all sides until it is nice and brown all over. Once meat is browned pour Red Fork Sunday Pot Roast Seasoning Sauce & beef broth of pot roast. Cover and place in the oven for 2.5 hours. With another hour to 1.5 left add potatoes, carrots and Vidalia onion; cook until fork tender.
